5. Healthy Creations 376 N El Camino Real, Encinitas, California

Last but definitely not least is a little hidden gem in Encinitas that does not get the attention it deserves. Healthy Creations is part cafe, part boutique health food store with grab and go organic treats or plenty of options to sit down and eat. Located in a small shopping center off El Camino Real, Healthy Creations is an affordable, healthier alternative to take-out and takes the guesswork out of organic eating. We love that they support local farms by using organic, locally grown produce as much as possible and always use organic grains and free–range, hormone-free meats. Their gluten free pastries alone are worth the trip across town! The newly remodeled cafe features an expanded dining area, free Wi-Fi, smoothies, cold pressed juice and many new menu items to choose from. Once you discover this solid organic cafe you will find yourself making a weekly trip to stock up your fridge at home (with a good conscious) knowing you are supporting a small, locally owned business.
